Lance Vanden Brook Tapped to Lead the Organization into Next Phase of its Growth and Success.
DANVERS, MA – September 15, 2016 – CyPhy Works, Inc. today announces that Lance Vanden Brook has been named chief executive officer (CEO). Lance will partner with CyPhy Works founder Helen Greiner, who will assume the role of chief technical officer (CTO). The company also announced that former president and chief operating officer (COO) of Kiva Systems, Amy Villeneuve, will assume the role of chairman of the CyPhy Works Board, effective immediately.
“Lance is an accomplished leader, with a background in both robotics, and the oil and gas industry,” said Helen Greiner, CyPhy Works founder and CTO. “I am excited for the future of CyPhy Works as we enter a growth phase.”
Vanden Brook previously led a $1 billion dollar business unit for Pilot Thomas Logistics serving as the senior vice president of their Energy and Industrial Group. Prior to Pilot, Lance was instrumental in driving the growth of Kiva Systems, a provider of fulfillment center automation using mobile robots and sophisticated control software; where he served as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Solutions. Lance was the Vice President of Sales for Invensys for seven years prior to Kiva, where he led sales and engineering teams supporting the Power and Energy sectors.
