Mr. Hadjinian, named to Walker Magnetic’s top post in January 2016, was most recently a venture capital fund manager for Accelerant Dayton of Dayton, Ohio, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is a graduate of Marquette University’s school of engineering and received his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mr. He served on the board of directors of Morris Material Handling from 2001 to 2006, according to the news release.
Walker Magnetics Group, Inc., with a facility on Rockdale Street and another in Ohio, “is the largest company in the world providing custom design and manufacture of magnetic products for workholding, material handling and separation applications,” according to a news release. “Founded in 1896 by Oakley S. Walker, the company has grown from a manufacturer of one primary product, the electromagnetic chuck, to a global concern with a diversified product line that includes permanent, electromagnetic and electro-permanent magnet products and systems for industrial applications,” the news release said.
Walker Magnetics was purchased in 2013 by Alliance Holdings of Abington, Penn.
