John McInerney is a Managing Partner of HTI Advisory Services, a boutique consulting and advisory firm serving private companies, private equity firms, and other institutions. He is focused on identifying significant financial opportunities for HTI clients that will increase the value of our clients’ companies. HTI advise clients involved in growth, merger, acquisition, fundraising and turnaround scenarios in order to enhance the client’s desired outcome. Prior to HTI Advisory, John spent 19 years as a CEO, entrepreneur and private equity/venture capital investor. He held several senior positions during this time including Chairman and CEO of four manufacturing and services companies. In addition, he founded two startup companies that were acquired by investors. During his career, John has been involved in sixteen acquisitions, nine of which he led. He led a team that grew a private equity backed company from $50 million in revenue to $350 million in revenue with an exit of $550 million. Previous to this, John spending 10 years at a Fortune 100 company attaining the position of Vice President. John has serve on a number of board of directors during his career including the Chamber of Commerce and the Catholic Youth Organization. He currently serves on the Athletics Football Board at the University of Pennsylvania and on the Board of Directors of private companies. John is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Applied Science. While at UPenn, John played on the varsity football team which won the Ivy League Championship, earning him 1st team All-Ivy honors. John attended the Management Program at the University of Virginia. John is married with 5 children and currently resides in Pennsylvania.
