Tom joins Frog from the corner office of Shawmut Design and Construction, a Boston firm where he served as President and CEO before retiring in 2015. As a member of the Board, Tom will advise Frog on strategies for driving profitable growth across Frog’s three priority vertical markets: Education, Healthcare, and Data Centers. Tom joined Shawmut in 1993 as a key member of the executive team at a pivotal time of corporate growth and strategic planning. After being appointed CEO in 2000, Tom helped grow Shawmut into a billion dollar company, with offices in Boston, New York, Providence, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. He is recognized throughout the design and construction industry for his knowledge of the regional and national construction markets and for his exceptional management skills and leadership. Under Tom’s leadership, Shawmut, a 100% employee-owned firm, is listed perennially among the 25 “Best Places to Work” since 2003. Tom earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, New York.
