STRATEGY

HTI Search Team meets and works with key decision makers to:
• Discuss the critical needs for the position
• Draft a formal job description for the assignment that includes an executive competency profile
• Define value proposition and pitch to potential candidates
• Generate a search strategy and outline target markets

EXECUTION
HTI conducts extensive research, networking and recruiting into the targeted source markets:
• During the first 5-6 weeks of the process, our Recruiters will normally speak with between 500 and 750 people, both networking and direct candidate recruiting
• We generate a significant amount of interest in the opportunity from the top performers in targeted industry sectors
• Build a candidate pool

 

ASSESSMENT
HTI keeps the Search Committee apprised of progress, and continually calibrates throughout the search:
• We send weekly update reports to our clients, including market intelligence, interview schedules, resumes and notes on candidates
• We formally interview the interested candidates, typically between 20-25 people per search, and screen down to the top candidates

• Once a finalist has been selected for the assignment, we perform detailed reference checking and background checks

• We schedule the top candidates to meet with the search committee
• We negotiate terms of an offer
